These stones that look like graves are actually a queueing mechanism. They were in front of each of the throne buildings. You lined up to see the king based on your rank, most important in front. Two columns -- one for military on the left and one for civilians on the right. The pecking order was established very clearly.is one of the many parks in Savannah. About every 3 or 4 blocks it seems there is square or park with a statue or fountain in it, some beautiful old oak trees and flowers and other plantings.
