For some reason, all the buildings were labeled with Chinese characters. They may have explained why but I don't remember. I also don't remember what this says. But it's something like Peace, Wisdom, and something. There is a lot of Chinese influence in Korea. The Korean alphabet has many similiarities to Chinese. The Chinese speaker in our group could generally make it out. Sort of like Italian and Spanish. one of the many parks in Savannah. About every 3 or 4 blocks it seems there is square or park with a statue or fountain in it, some beautiful old oak trees and flowers and other plantings. It makes walking through town very pleasant and relaxing.
