The first stop on our trip was this beautiful lake which is about 15 miles outside of Bandon, OR. We came across a sign for it as we came over the coast range and decided to have a look just because the name amused us. It was calm, quiet and peaceful and only a few people were around. It probably gets a lot more raucous in the summer but luckily not when we were there.
