We stopped at the Mariposa Sequoia Grove but the parking lot was full. We found a spot on the road coming in, parking behind another car. The people in the car ahead got out at the same time we did and started up the road. But Marion heard a noise in the woods behind us and spotted 3 deer. We stood and watched them cross the road. The other people, not 40 yards ahead up the road, never saw them.
